Winfield Lions welcome new members
Volunteer organization grows with two new members
WINFIELD — With the sponsorship of current members Larry and Donna Montross, Winfield Lions Club welcomes new members Bob and Lori Paisley to their organization.
Lions Clubs have a rich history dating back to 1917 when Lions Club Internation began under the leadership of Melvin Jones in Chicago. Jones began these clubs with a desire to expand business clubs’ focuses from purely professional concerns to the betterment of their communities and the world at large.
Since the beginning of the Lions Club organization as a whole, members have volunteered their time and talents to meet needs wherever they exist, and Winfield Lions Club does just that in the Winfield Community thanks to members like Larry and Donna and now Bob and Lori.
