WMU school building reached 100 years
The Winfield community will celebrate a rich history as the local school building reaches 100 years old
WINFIELD — This Saturday, May 25, the Winfield-Mt. Union Community School District and Winfield All School Reunion Committee will host an open house to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the Winfield school building.
The public is invited to tour the school, enjoy refreshments, and reminisce at the WMU school building from 1-3 p.m. to celebrate this milestone.
Additionally, historic items of the school and Winfield area will be on display at the Winfield Museum will open from 1-3 p.m. Saturday.
