Woman charged with supplying drugs to juvenile

MT. PLEASANT — Henry County Sheriff’s Office charged a Mt. Pleasant woman with Drug Distribution Violation to Persons Under 18 following reports of a juvenile with drug paraphernalia.

Upon receiving reports of a juvenile with drug paraphernalia, Deputy Cassandra Kraft conducted an investigation which first resulted in the juvenile receiving charges for possession of drug paraphernalia.

“During the investigation, the Juvenile reported receiving Marijuana from Chelsie Flanegan, the defendant,” Kraft states in the criminal complaint filed with the courts.

According to Kraft, Flanegan, 27, admitted to supplying the juvenile with approximately one gram of marijuana June 12 outside her residence.

Flanegan was then charged with Drug Distribution Violation to Persons Under 18, a Class B felony. She was released without bail pending a pretrial scheduled for Aug. 7 at 9 a.m.
