•Holiday Stroll Committee held their annual soup supper fundraiser.
•Dover Historical Society launches its new year.
•Senior Spotlights: Cauy Garrett, Kaitlyn Lee, Evan Reed, Josie Bain, Boden Pickle, Logan Gallup, Taven Jewett, Noelle Rowe, Mavy Pope, Madison Kracht, Reean Seberg, Dominic Lopez, Vegas Watson, Gregorio Cantu, Mason Shelledy, Ines Veschembes, Brodie Wenger, and Eliana Manning.
•Boden Pickle broke the 100 m dash with a time of 10.90. He broke Ridge Hobbs’ 2009 record of 10.91.
•Blaise Porter was nominated and chosen to play in the Pizza Ranch All-Star Basketball game.
•Renovations at Geode State Park closed the beach for summer 2023.
•Mark Chiri was chosen Coach of the Year for the All-Union wrestling team.
•Jessica Boyer was the 2023 recipient of the Iowa Professional Leadership Award.
•Obituaries this month: Dorothy Jacobs and Marjorie Helt.
•Kade Benjamin’s high jump of 6’ 7” took 1st at the Denny White Relays.
•The prom theme this year was City Nights, City Lights.

•New London City Council discussed partnering with NLCSD for a school resource officer.
•Obituaries this month: Donna Lee Woodall Baker, Keegan Scott Miller, Donald Mathews, and Douglas McDonald.
•Second Grade Classes visit Dover Museum.
•Senior Spotlights: Alyas Krieger, Weston Miller, Trent Wilkerson, Wyatt Miller, Adaline McLain, and Sadie Lyons.
•Rylan Martin won the 800 m run at the Ekstrand Relays and earned the 2023 Kevin Walters memorial trophy.
•The 6th Grade Campout marks its 50th year.
•The New London girls’ golf team wins the SEISC title.
•The distance medley team of Rylan Martin, Boden Pickle, Brigham Porter, and London Franklin qualified for the state track meet. Martin also qualified in the 800 open and the 1600 m, while Pickle will compete in the 100m.
•The 2023 Senior class graduates on Sunday, May 21st.

•Clark pre-K students “graduate” to kindergarten after a successful year.

•Natalie Burden hit two home runs against the Danville Bears on June 13.
•Noah Crossett won the Top Underclassman Male Award at the SEI National Guard Fitness Camp.
