Alexandra Farley

Alexandra was a belated Christmas present in 2004, making her appearance on December 27. Called Alex early on, she is the daughter of Jason Farley and Carolyn Farley. She has two siblings, Allyson Farley and Lanie Zachmeyer, both 20. Her grandparents are the late Darrell and Virginia Hanks and the late David and Betty Farley.

She is a life member of the Class of 2023 and has been a very busy member. She is a member of National Honor Society and student council. An honor roll student, Alex has been in the fall play, the spring musical, dance team, individual and large group speech, softball, track, band, and choir.

Alex has received Division I ratings in both district and state speech. When she isn’t taking care of school business, she likes to do dance and theatre and go thrift shopping.

Alex’s proudest moment was receiving a Division I rating across the board at state speech in the “After Dinner” speaking category.

Her most embarrassing moment was during a performance of the “Addams Family” musical. She went backstage and started talking to one of the other actors. Unknown to her, the whole audience could hear her because her mic was still on.

Alex’s special person is her sister, Allyson Farley. She says of her sister, “She has always supported me and been by my side through everything. She’s the greatest built-in best friend I could ask for.”

When asked about what’s special about her class, she says they can always find something to talk about, no matter what. Her senior advice to the underclassmen is “please walk on the right side of the hallway … please.”

Alex is looking forward to graduation. Her plans after high school are to attend PCI Academy for cosmetology.

Tiger Nation has enjoyed Alex’s performances in plays and musicals. Her acting skills will be missed, but they wish her the best as she leaves the halls of NLHS and begins her next adventure.
