Burge Cemetery Association Holds Spring Meeting
Some cemetery fees will go up this summer

Burge Cemetery Association held their spring meeting at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19 at Elliott Chapel in New London. After much discussion a motion was made and approved to raise the following fees effective June 1, 2024:
- Grave space at Burge Cemetery to $450.00.
- Opening and closing fees for cremations to $400.00.
- Traditional fees to $300.00.
The Association is in hopes that the Veterans Memorial Park planning will take shape this summer/fall. Currently $15,000 of the $20,000 has been raised. Many thanks to all who have contributed to the project.
