Cauy W. Garrett

Cauy was born on Sept. 15, 2005 to Sherry and Robby Christensen and Rusty Garrett. He joined siblings Coltyn, Justice, Jade, and Brodie Christensen, Emma Loveland, and Ryker and Kaden Garrett. His grandparents are Jim Nezul, Chris and David Shaddle, and Kelly and Jeff Laughlin

He has spent eight years as a NL Tiger with the Class of 2023. When he’s not busy at school, he likes to run. He has participated in cross-country and track.

Cauy is honored to be a member of the 2022 Class 1A State Track Championship team. Winning state track is, not surprisingly, his proudest moment. His most embarrassing was hitting Camryn in the back of the head with a water bottle … ouch!

Cauy feels that the special thing about his class is that they are very athletic.

He singles out his mom, Sherry, as his special person, When asked why, he said, “She’s my mom!”

Cauy’s advice to the underclassmen is “take the easy classes.”

He is happy that track has started. His future plans are to run at SCC and then go to Sheldon for the lineman program.
