Charlie Brown Christmas Tree Decorating Contest returns to Holiday Stroll

Thanks to Lance and Nicole Ingwerson of Outlaw Tee, aka Maleo Custom Designs LLC, the fun of the Christmas Decorating Tree Contest is back for the Holiday Stroll celebration Dec. 7. Their active, growing business is located in the former Linkin Center on Main Street.
Only the windows will be open during the Stroll. Bringing back this fun event will allow Outlaw Tee and the entire business community to show their creativity. It also allows Outlaw Tee to showcase the community, work with local businesses and bring back a tradition that has been missed. In the past, the Christmas tree decorations ranged from beautifully traditional to humorous depictions of the holiday spirit. The trees will be decorated and will be placed in the windows for viewing enjoyment and community ballot.
In the past, the voting was done by donation. This year, the voting will be done electronically on Facebook. Each business has been asked to decorate a tree. The poll will be located on the Event page. There will be a list of instructions in the window for community voters to follow. The tree with the most votes is declared the winner. The committee is still working out details of prize winning and display. Those businesses planning to participate, please let Chelsea Boecker or a member of the committee know.
