VFW Post 7641 begins its popular taco season September 6.

Every Wednesday from 5-7 pm September through May, tacos are served at the VFW post. This community meal helps support all the important work done by the VFW auxiliary and veterans throughout the year.

Henry County Health Center SHIIP – Register by September 8.

SHIIP (Senior Health Insurance Information Program) is designed to help seniors find out what Medicare plans or other insurance options will best meet their needs. Henry County Conservation Wine Walk in the Woods September 12

Tuesday, September 12 5 – 7 pm, the popular “wine Walk in the Woods” will be held. Meet at the Oakland Mills Nature Center. Enjoy the great outdoors as you stroll through the park. Browse local vendors, wineries, businesses and more. Henry County Conservation supports the Iowa the Beautiful 2023 and the great opportunities in Henry County.

New London Wrestling Golf Tournament September 16

On Saturday, September 16, the New London Wrestling Boosters have scheduled a golf tournament. Registration begins at 8 am at the Deerwood Golf Club with a shotgun start at 9:00 am.
