Dover Historical Society to meet Friday, March 24
The monthly meeting of the Dover Historical Society will be held Friday, March 24 at 1:30 pm at the museum. All members are invited to attend as your input is welcome.
Holiday Stroll Soup Supper Saturday March 25 at 3:30 p.m.
Beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the New London Community Building, a soup supper is scheduled. Serving chicken noodle, chili, ham & cheese soups and a variety of desserts, this $6 meal is designed to warm you and fill you up. Proceeds help fund the popular Holiday Stroll.
Dollars for Scholars Saturday March 25 at 5 p.m.
The Annual New London Dollars for Scholars Auction will be held beginning at 5 p.m. in the Charles Lorber Gymnasium. A freewill donation meal prepared by the New London High School Food & Nutrition class begins the celebration. The auction starts at 6. All proceeds go to provide scholarship for New London graduates. Both college and vocational studies are eligible for these scholarships.
Palm Sunday Service April 2
Danville Area Churches invite everyone to The Danville Community Palm Sunday Service Sunday, April 2 at 6:30 at Danville United Methodist church. Dr Dan McClure from Faith Baptist church will bring the message. A special mission offering will be taken for a need to be specified. The service is sponsored by Danville First Baptist, Danville Faith Baptist, Danville Congregational UCC, Danville United Methodist & Long Creek United Methodist.
