Easter Egg Hunt April 15 at Specialty Care beginning 10 a.m.
The Easter Bunny is appearing at the Specialty Care Center. He will observe the Easter Egg Hunt in the side yard beginning at 10 a.m. Plan to take pictures while you are waiting for your age groups to hunt eggs!!
New London School Board to meet Monday, April 17
On Monday, April 17 at 6 p.m., the New London School Board will hold its regular monthly meeting. All members of the school district are welcome. A signup sheet is available as you enter the Board Room if you wish to address the Board regarding a school issue.
Building Better Birders April 22 at Henry County Nature Center at 8 a.m.
This Henry County Conservation Workshop will include several popular birding activities. Beginning at 8 am a Bird Hike will be held followed by an Introduction to Birds Part I, Lunch (Bring your own), ending with Introduction to Birds Part 2. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Register at mycountyparks.com by April 15 at 5 p.m.
2023 Earth Day scheduled April 22
“Invest in our Planet” is the theme for this year’s Earth Day. Begin your day at the Henry County Bird workshop. Lee County is sponsoring a Hands-On Habitat Workday. Check out your favorite organizations to see what they have planned. This is the 53rd anniversary of the modern environmental movement.
