Construction update on new gym

In four days the crane operators and other S&G Construction workers erected the outside walls of the new gym.

If you drive by or just look at the picture attached, you will see that one wall panel was purposely left out. By leaving this panel out, it allows access for the next construction teams to complete their work.

In the coming days and weeks, there will be the delivery and erection of steel trusses, while the welders continue to weld the precast panels together.

The McClure Masonry team also will be on site and if the weather cooperates, will begin setting brick along the north side of the new gym.

These walls will develop the entrance into the corridor where restrooms, concession stand, mechanical room and office space will be located.

In addition, they also will lay the brick on the west side of the new gym designing the layout of the new weight room.
