Cross-Country and Volleyball Results for the Week

The cross-country team ran in the Mt. Pleasant meet on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The times and place rankings follow:
HS boys
- Natan Bergman - 20:28 - 44th
- Zayden Lawrence - 22:15 - 64th
- Elijah Ingwersen - 24:55 - 86th
- Jayden Wagner - 31:54 - 102nd
HS girls
- Irelynn Kelly - 27:50 - 53rd
JH boys
- Zane Long - 13:55 - 31st
- Job Reighard - 14:09 -39th
- Linken Welcher - 15:01 - 55th
JH girls
- Lillian Francy - 16:45 - 38th
- Gracie Dilks - 18:39 - 54th
Coach Swailes said, “It was a good meet with several personal best times. The kids are working hard, and it was nice this week to only have one meet. The high school runs again on Monday at Kicker’s Park in Iowa City at the Clear Creek Amana meet.”
Volleyball
On Thursday, Sept. 26, the Tigers played in the SEIS Conference volleyball tournament pool play at Mediapolis. The first opponent was Mediapolis. They went 0/2 against the Bulldogs, losing 21-13 and 21-10.
The Tigers next faced the Columbus Wildcats. They lost in two, 21-11 and 21-18. They played much better in the second game. There were no individual stats available for either match.
