Cross-Country has SEISC Meet

Southeast Iowa Union offers audio versions of articles using Instaread. Some words may be mispronounced.
The JH/HS cross-country teams traveled to Hillcrest Academy for the SEI Super Conference meet. Fifteen schools had runners.
HS boys:
· Natan Bergman — 20:01 — 49th place.
· Zayden Lawrence — 22:42 — 78th place
· Zane Long — 22:42 — 79th place
· Elijah Ingersen — 22:44 — 80th place
· Jayden Wagner — 30:01 — 97th place
As a team, the boys finished 14th out of 15 teams
HS girls:
· Irelynn Kelly — 28:42 — 59th place
· Cadie Mortimer — 42:48 — 64th place
JH boys
· Bentley McFarland — 13:30 — 5th place
JH girls:
· Lillian Francy — 15:47 — 17th place
· Emma Totemeier — 18:15 — 34th place
In cross-country, a runner gets all-conference if he/she finishes in the top 15 runners. Congratulations to Bentley McFarland for his effort and earning all-conference for his 5th place finish.
The team will go to the state qualifying meet in Ottumwa on Thursday, Oct. 23. Go Tigers!
