Danville man makes dean’s list

DANVILLE — Carter Allen was notified Jan. 10 that he made the dean’s list at Loras College in Dubuque, during the fall 2024 semester.

“Speaking on behalf of the faculty and staff at Loras, we are proud of your accomplishments, the knowledge you gained, and the skills you acquired,” read a congratulatory email to Allen from the school’s Office of the Provost and Academic Dean. “As you prepare to begin a new semester, I encourage you to continue to dedicate yourself to your studies. The time and effort you invest will support the development of skills and competencies needed to effectively engage and contribute to the contemporary world.”

Allen was one of under 400 students to receive the honor, according to the school’s complete list of names. Qualifications for the list include a minimum grade-point average of 3.50 for the term, and status as a full-time student taking at least 12 graded credits.
