‘Deadline’ swiftly approaching

The Masqued Tigers are experiencing two deadlines. Spending Saturdays, evenings and free time, the crew and cast put finishing touches on the scenery for the upcoming Fall play. FIRST DEADLINE: Friday November 8!
The second “DEADLINE” has actually been a major part of the Masqued Tiger life since it was chosen to be the Fall Play.
Murder-mysteries are trending right now. “Deadline“ by Marsha Kash and Douglas E. Huges offers the best elements from this genre. The plan is a smart, fast-paced, true-to-form whodunit with a theatre-centric twist. The play within a play becomes real and the story blurs the line between real life and the fictional world. The audience is given room to collect the clues and conclude by figuring out the killer. However, this script is very subtle and not necessarily helpful.
The Masqued Tigers have been given a challenging task. The characters are eccentric and the mystery has enough turns to keep every one guessing. This while also keeping everyone laughing. Come out and support New London’s performing arts students. As always family friendly scripts are chosen. Don’t miss this evening of fun. Deadline offers a new twist on a very old idea.

- VIP PACKAGE $20. This ticket offers early admission (45 minutes before the scheduled performance), seating in the first three rows, preperformance pictures with your favorite cast and crew as well as a drink and bag of popcorn.
- EARLY ACCESS PASS $10. Enter the auditorium 30 minutes before the scheduled performance.
- GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET $5 offer seating 15 minutes prior to performances.
Performances are: Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The Saturday evening performance is followed by Senior Night.
