Dover Historical Society welcomes Deb Scott to Dover Sunday

Deb Scott is returning to Dover Museum. Deb is a local artist who brings unique techniques and ideas to her work. On her first visit, she introduced the community to her sculptures. These came complete with stories of the personalities of the people depicted.

During this visit, Deb will introduce her paintings and painting techniques. Her paint is made from local nature material. Constantly searching nature, Deb finds rocks, clay soils and plants. Depending on the media used she makes watercolors, pastels or oil points. Brushes are also produced using turkey feathers and hair from roadkill animals. Deb’s paintings are original and creative from start to finish.
