Every year Clark Elementary classes hold a Family Fun Night. Everyone and every age group is invited to visit the classrooms. In addition, a supper is available in the cafeteria. This year supper features hot dogs and macaroni and cheese. Plan to visit Clark Elementary from 5:30–7 p.m. Feb. 27. Enjoy supper with no dishes and a fun-filled learning world.
This year the theme is “Night of the Living Museum.’ Each grade level has chosen a subject of interest. The students then work hard creating objects and informative lessons to communicate their ideas. Some of the students will dress according to their theme. Many of the children will have stories to tell interested family members and community visitors.
Based on the popular movie series, Night at the Museum, Clark students are creatively constructing their own living museum. The advantage of this restoration is one does not have to wait for midnight for the exhibits to become live. History, archaeology and some seemingly “dull” subjects will become fascinating. Everyone will have a blast as they share this evening with our New London scholars.
