Southeast Iowa Union offers audio versions of articles using Instaread. Some words may be mispronounced.
The library had 101 submissions for the 5th Annual Brag Tag Art contest this year! It was so hard to narrow it down to work for 20 tags, but we did it! This year 30 artists will be featured.
Some of the artists’ work were combined to make fun unique tags. There were some minor editing and/or color enhancements made to brighten the tags or make room for additional entries and to include student names and grades.
Listed below are all the artists. You will want to go to the library Facebook site and see all of the tags and original artwork. The tags will have names and grade level but original artwork will not.
Congratulations to the featured artists!
Tag #1 - Ryker Amburn (5th Grade) & Cenna Stout (1st Grade)
Tag #2 - Decker Allen & Eva Oleson (both 4th Grade)
Tag #3 - Leo Garvey & Clayton Thein (3rd Grade), Averianna Jacobs-Fuller & Giana Wolf (4th Grade), Indi Shinkle (1st Grade) & Trinity Amburn (2nd Grade)

Everyone is getting excited and planning for a great summer reading program. There is still time to go to the library’s wish list and help provide needed items for this year’s program. The link is https://tinyurl.com/NugenLibraryWishlist. The reading program includes all ages so plan to participate. iREAD 2025: Level Up at Your Library reminds us that libraries are not just a space for knowledge, they are a space for fun!
