Holiday Stroll announces the Annual Christmas Lighting Contest

Calling all Clark Griswolds, Martha Mays, and all New London residents — It’s time to decorate your homes and enter the Annual Christmas Lighting Contest. Applications are available at the City Office or can be printed from the New London Holiday Stroll Facebook page. Entry forms are due in the City Office by 4 p.m. Dec. 15. Formal judging will take place Dec. 17.

This contest is the perfect opportunity for residents to showcase their creative talents and produce wonderful holiday displays! Your address will be added to the map for public use. Cash prizes are 1st Place $150, 2nd place is $100, 3rd Place is $50.

Even though the judging takes place after the Holiday Stroll, many visitors like to drive around New London during the Stroll. There are many beautifully decorated homes
