Homecoming Kickoff

The New London High School classes gathered on the football field Sunday night. Everyone wore their Homecoming T-shirts. The color of the T-shirt readily identified the different classes. Seniors wore black, Juniors white, Sophomores gold and Freshmen pink.

The sky was gray and rain threatened but all were smiling and ready. Mr. White told everyone the rules for the upcoming Kickball competition. A major caution included protecting the football field from the effects of the recent rain — no sliding. The second, third and further cautions were sportsmanship tips — no complaining about calls and no questions. Penalties ranged from disqualification to awarding points to the opposing team.

Homecoming week begins with the traditional spirited Kickball kickoff.
