If It’s July, It’s Mini-Golf Tournament Time

It’s July and that means the 18th annual NLPPPA (New London Professional Putt-Putt Association) tournament is right around the corner. The only requirement is that all participants must either be from New London, Iowa or know someone from New London, Iowa.
On Saturday, July 26, 2025, the participants will gather for another fun-filled mini-golf tournament! If pre-tournament inquiries are any indication, the interest is that there will be a big contingent of golfers attending this year’s event.
The schedule is as follows:
- 10 a.m. - Jester Park Mimi Golf - 12059 NW 118th Avenue - Granger, IA 50109
- 12 p.m. - LUNCH @ Smokey D’s BBQ - 5055 NW 2nd Street - Des Moines, IA 50313
- 1 p.m. - West Grand Golf - 6450 Racoon River Drive - West Des Moines, IA 50266
- 3 p.m. - A.H. Blank Golf - 808 County Line Road - Des Moines, IA 50320
The cost will be $20-$25 per player (lunch not included) which includes all green fees and water. (Brian is working some deals with the courses, therefore cost is an estimate.)
If you have not done so, please let us know if you are coming and invite someone you like (or someone you don't like) to join us. Limit is 72 players (currently at about 30, but probably some do not know what RSVP means.)
Remember, you either have to be from New London, Iowa or know someone from New London, Iowa to be eligible to play.
