New London TPTO STEM Family Fun night Feb. 22
This year we decided to change things up for Family Fun Night! We are very very excited to bring the StarLab to Clark! You won’t want to miss out on it, it is super cool! We will have a Hot Dog bar in the cafeteria, free-will donations will be accepted. We have some other really cool things in store too, come check it out!
New London VFW Catfish & Chicken Dinner Saturday February 24
Catfish or Chicken for dinner at New London V.F.W. Post 7641 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Catfish-$13, Chicken-$9. Dinner includes a roll and your choice of two yummy sides (Fries, Baked Beans or Coleslaw)!
Sixth Grade Campout Mandatory Meeting Feb. 26
Sixth Grade Parents: There will be a MANDATORY Camp Out meeting on Monday, Feb. 26 at 6 p.m. in the HS gym.
New London Performing Arts presents Goosebumps Mar. 1 or 2
Set your calendar for March 1 & 2. Goosebumps the Musical: The Phantom of the Auditorium. Choose Friday 7 pm, Saturday 2 pm or 7 pm. Join the fun.
Des Moines County Conservation dates for OWL PROWL during February
February is Owl Month. The public can participate in the owl prowl on Feb 28.
As space is limited for public programs, we encourage interested individuals to reserve their spots by calling 319-753-5808.
Des Moines County Master Gardeners present seminar Saturday March 2
The Des Moines County Master Gardeners are pleased to present an educational Winter Seminar. The seminar will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa. The event is open to all gardeners, whether beginners or experts. The cost of the symposium is $50 if you register by Jan. 31, 2024. The price increases to $55 in February, with registration closing on Feb. 20, 2024. A buffet-style lunch at the SCC cafeteria is included with the registration fee.
