Des Moines County Conservation dates for OWL PROWL during February
February is Owl Month. The public can participate in the owl prowl on Feb 28.
As space is limited for public programs, we encourage interested individuals to reserve their spots by calling 319-753-5808.
NLCSD First Public Forum on 4-Day School week Thursday, Feb. 29
The SIAC is studying the pros and cons of a 4-day school week. The public is invited to learn about this study, offer comments and share opinions at 6 p.m. in the Clark Cafeteria.
New London Performing Arts presents Goosebumps March 1 or 2
Set your calendar for March 1 & 2. Goosebumps the Musical: The Phantom of the Auditorium. Choose Friday, March 1, 7 p.m. or March 2, Saturday 2 p.m. or 7 p.m. Join the fun.
Holiday Stroll Soup Supper: March 2, 3 — 6 p.m.
Second fundraiser of the year, the fabulous soup supper is scheduled for Saturday, March 2.
Soups offered are Chicken Noodle, Keto Ham n Cheese, Ham n Potato, Chili. Sides: Cinnomon Rolls, Strawberry Pie, Texas Sheet Cake, Peanut Butter Sandwich. 100% of all proceeds support the 2024 Holiday Stroll
Henry County Conservation offers Maple Syruping
On March 5, the annual maple syrup workshop is offered from 4-6 pm. Learn how pioneers made sugar from tree sap.
