Sept. 2 — Labor Day

Sept. 2 — 100 Bird Labor Day Derby
The New London Tiger Trap Team will be serving food at this event. The Prairie Hunters Club is sponsoring this event. This would be a good day to learn about the fast-growing sport as well as support our Tiger shooters concession efforts. The Derby begins at 11 a.m. Prairie Hunters is located at 1545 — 212th St, West Point.
Aug. 28 through Sept. 2 — Old Threshers
Travel back in time at Midwest Old Threshers in Mount Pleasant at the Old Threshers, McMillian Park until September 2nd! Aug. 30 — Danville State Savings Bank celebrates 125 years
In 1899 a group of progressive citizens organized the Danville State Savings Bank. It has survived many interesting times and was even robbed. In 1998 DSSB built the branch in New London. Stop in and say Congratulations to the bank employees.
Sept. 7 — Wrestling Booster Golf Fundraiser
It is time to sign up for the Wrestling Booster Golf Fundraiser. This is a fun day for everyone. Flag sponsorships are also available. Sign up before Sept. 1 for $175. There is a 22-team limit.
