Friday, Nov. 17 at 1:30 p.m., Dover Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting. It is a week early because of the Thanksgiving holiday. It is an important meeting as final plans for the Holiday Stroll and Methodist Luncheon will be discussed. All members are welcome.

“Peter and the Wolf” is a concert for families and is bigger & better than ever! This 45-minute concert features music from Star Wars & Disney’s Encanto. Fun, interactive and educational! Henry County Conservation Escape the Nature Center Nov. 19 & 21

At the Oakland Mills Nature Center on Sunday, Nov. 19, two sessions of Escape the Nature Center: Session 1 Terror at the Campsite Slot 9 will be offered from 11 a.m. to noon and Session 2 Terror at the Campsite Slot 10 from 1 — 2 p.m. Session 3 Terror at the Campsite Slot 11 will be held Tuesday, Nov. 21 6-7 pm. Get locked in the Nature Center, become part of the mysterious scenario, solve the clues to escape.

NLCSD Thanksgiving Break — Nov. 22 — 24

There will be no school Wednesday, Thursday an Friday. Take time to celebrate Thanksgiving with friends and family.

Twelfth Annual Thanksgiving Dinner Plans Underway Nov. 23

The twelfth Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at Clark Elementary School Cafeteria on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23 from 11:30 to 1:00. Monetary donations are welcome. If you wish to donate food, rolls and desserts are appropriate. Volunteers to serve and deliver meals to homes are needed as well.
