Nov. 27-29 NO SCHOOL
NLCSD will be closed Wednesday through Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Dec. 7 — Holiday Stroll “Let Your Littles Shop”
10 a.m.-1 p.m. At Clark Elementary School Cafeteria Kindergarten through 6th grade can shop for gift items. Baked goods will be on sale. Free hot chocolate and free doughnuts are available. This is a chance for elementary students to Christmas shop with prices from 50 cents to $10. Children shop from a large selection of items. This is their chance to choose Christmas gifts for their special loved ones. The Holiday Stroll Committee still is in need of volunteers for this event. Seventh grade students through adults are needed in all sorts tasks. Dressing as an Elf is optional but are in high demand to help little ones shop. Do you like to wrap presents? Help is always welcome at this table. The wonderful smiles of joy and thanks are a good way to start the holiday season.
Dec. 7 — Jeremy Fulk Wrestling Tournament
9 a.m. New London High School boys will host the Jeremy Fulk Tournament. This annual event is important to our community. Volunteers are needed. Check the Facebook site to sign up. This is a VERY busy weekend and we need ALL hands-on deck.
Dec. 8 — Tiger Cub Wrestling Tournament
The Tiger Cub Tournament follows the Jeremy Fulk Tournament. This is a very important event and ensures New London’s continued prominence in school wrestling. Volunteers are also needed for this event. We understand this is a hectic time of year but we really can’t do this without your help. When signing up to help please make sure you are signing up for the correct day you wish to sign up for. If you can help two days, it would be wonderful.
Dec. 8 — New London Specialty Care Holiday Open House
2-4 p.m. Families and the New London Community are invited to join our residents for a festive gathering. Enjoy the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Indulge in cookie decorating, drink hot cocoa and write letters to Santa.
