April 26: Dover Museum hosts Eastern Iowa NMRA meeting
9:30 a.m. The National Model Railroad Association, Eastern Division will meet at Dover Museum in New London. Tom Persoon will present “Little Cats & Big Cats Modeling Construction & Mining Machinery Loads.” Visitors will also visit the Pilot Grove Depot.
April 26: Henry County Conservation Nature Center opens
9 a.m. – Noon: Visit the Nature Center at Oakland Mills and enjoy the new Rock and Mineral exhibit as well as many other informative and attractive displays. The Center is also open by appointment. Plan to spend outdoor time as well enjoying the trails!
April 26: Danville/Middletown Citywide Garage /Yard Sales
The dates are April 26-27. Time is determined by the sale owner. Keep an eye on Facebook.
April 29: Henry County Public Health Immunization Clinic
9-11 a.m. Henry County Public Health Immunization Clinic. 106 North Jackson Street, Mount Pleasant. No appointment necessary. Bring your insurance card, but there are vaccines for uninsured/underinsured individuals as well., call 319-385-0779 with questions.
May 3: New London Citywide Garage/Yard Sales
May 3: Des Moines County Master Gardiners plant sale
Des Moines County Master Gardeners will hold their annual plant sale, rain or shine, at the Des Moines County Extension Office in West Burlington, IA. Annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetable plants and houseplants will be available for sale. There will also be tools, horticultural books, and other garden-related items available to purchase.
Tiger Food Pantry Hours
Tiger Pantry hours are Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday 9:00 to11:00 a.m.
