Sept. 14: Dover Museum is Open.

1-4 p.m. Dover Museum is open every Sunday through October. Visit all the nooks and crannies! There is much to see and learn about New London’s past.

Sept. 14: Free Will Donation Fish Fry

5-7 p.m. Friends of Conservation in Henry County are holding a Fish fry at the new shelter house, Stevenson Park, Lowell. The Friends and the Tiger Shooting Sports Team joined forces with other volunteers to build this incredible addition to the park. Bring a chair and your own beverage. Other activities are being discussed are a float, classic car display, motorcycles, SxS, This is an informal Sunday Funday.

Sept. 16: Henry County Conservation Wine Walk in the Woods

6-7 p.m. The Oakland Mills Nature Center invites you to support local businesses and explore the autumn beauty of Oakland Mills with “Wine Walk in the Woods. Vendors will share their favorite drink and ambassador animals from the Nature Center will be nearby. This event for over 21 years of age. The suggested donation is $5/person and the event is weather dependent. This fundraising event will help the many ambassador animals who cannot be returned to the wild. The naturalists visit many schools and organizations with education programs.

Sept. 20: Oakland Mills Fun Day

3-7 p.m. Join the fun on the south shore of Oakland Mills. This Preserve Oakland Mills fundraiser supports the restoration of the walking bridge across the Skunk. Music, food and activities are planned for all.

Sept. 20: Pioneer Cemetery Day

2 p.m. Learn about the many pioneer cemeteries in Baltimore, Scott and Wayne Townships. The event will be held in the Event Room at the Henry County Heritage Trust Museum, 403 W. Madison, Mount Pleasant.

Sept. 21: Dover Sunday presents Model Building Extraordinaire

1:30 p.m. September’s Dover Sunday’s program will feature the work of Seth Eberhardt. Seth is a master model builder. His displays include agriculture and buildings of the past as well as railroad history.
