Seth Eberhardt from Mediapolis has been building miniatures for over 20 years. He started out with scale model farm buildings including dollhouses and models of buildings which were in the town of Mediapolis. Seth has also recently been building scale-model farm machinery.
On Sunday afternoon, Sept. 21 at 1:30 p.m. at the Dover Museum in New London, Seth will have a presentation which will include how he got into the hobby, projects he has done, shows he has attended and awards he has won and anything else you would like to know about the world of miniatures.
One special display will be the former Mediapolis Rock Island depot. It is a miniature compared to the real thing, but it may be much larger than you realize. The Mediapolis depot will also be on display in Dover’s Pilot Grove depot for the Southeast Iowa Depot Tour Oct. 4 and 5.
All Dover Museum programs are free to the public. This program will be interesting for all ages. We hope to see you there!
