Last March Holiday Stroll Soup Supper

Chairman Chelsea Boecker has announced the suspension of the March Holiday Stroll Soup Supper fundraiser. Despite the variety of delicious soups and desserts and the hard work of the volunteers, this year’s Soup Supper suffered a small attendance.

This has been a trend these past few years. Some community members have asked for a fall soup supper. The committee has not closed the door on this idea, but it remains a maybe. More BINGO nights are under consideration. Holiday Stroll members would love to hear feedback from the community. These early fundraising efforts are very important to the success of the second Saturday in December.

New London Jet Stop, Mount Pleasant Walmart and all the volunteers on the committee are due a Huge Thank You for their donations, time, and effort. The next fundraising event scheduled is Tip Night at the Pizza Ranch and the Monster Mash in October. Keep an eye out for these dates.
