Little Flyers Shopping Event is just around the Corner

Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. — 3 p.m. the Little Shoppers Christmas Shopping Event will be held in the Clark Elementary Cafeteria. Ages Kindergarten to Sixth Grade are welcome to shop. A Bake Sale with free hot chocolate and doughnuts is planned as well. Students are allowed to spend up to $20 on items they find for their special loved ones. Items are priced from a quarter up to $5 each. Elves will be available to help shoppers as well as a wrapping service.

Donations of new or gently used items are welcome. Gifts for all ages are needed. Don’t forget that dads, grandpas and brothers are on the loved list as are grandmas, moms and sisters. They may be dropped off at Lorber Insurance to Chelsea Boecker. Donations will be accepted until November 27.

Begin your plans for the Holiday Stroll December 9. The Stroll begins at 5 p.m. with the arrival of Santa. Tiger Auto and the Celebration School of Dancers are making sure he arrives in style. Santa will only stay until 7 p.m. All activities begin at 5 p.m. Watch the New London Journal as the list of activities is revealed. grow.
