Logan Gallup
Apr. 13, 2023 12:38 pm, Updated: Apr. 19, 2023 12:17 pm
Logan John Wayne Gallup entered this world on December 9, 2004. He was born to Rachel Wood and has two younger siblings, Lillie and Landon Gallup. His grandparents are Debra Braun and Kevin Wood. His nickname is Goaty.
He started school with the Class of 2023, was gone for a few years, then rejoined them in seventh grade, so Logan is close to a life member.
When he was not hitting the books, Logan participated in both team basketball as a Tiger and also AAU basketball. He likes to go to the gym in his spare time and hang out with his friends.
His proudest moment was “watching my guys go to state from the student section this year.” Logan’s most disappointing moment was when he hurt his knee last summer and was not able to rejoin his team for basketball season.
Logan singled out his mom, his Uncle Tyler, and Patrick as the people he’d most like to recognize.
When asked what sets the Class of 2023 apart, he says, “We are all very different people.” His advice to the underclassmen: Don’t let what other people think change what you want to do.
Logan is most looking forward to “finally graduating.” His future plans include attending Indian Hills Community College and entering their PTA program.
Logan leaves NLHS with Tiger Nation’s best wishes as he start life’s next adventure.
