Class of 1935 will celebrate their 40th class reunion on Sunday Aug. 18 at Ramey Hall. Everyone should bring a covered dish. Call Fern Davey or Ramona Wiley if attending.
Longtime resident, Justus Piper, 78, died suddenly on Wednesday morning, August 6.
Randall Allen Lamm and Steve Davey, ages one and thirteen, celebrated their birthdays on Sunday, Aug. 5 at the home of Velma Davey. Those in attendance for dinner included Mike Strawhacker, Shiree Davey, Kent and Sheila Lamm, and Mrs. J C. Parsons. Afternoon guests were Mr. and Mrs. Burton Thornburg, Marcia Thornburg, Regina Buchholz and Lisa Chapman and friends.
Four hundred to five hundred attended the open house for the new health care facility.

The Chamber of Commerce Hometown Pride Award winner this week is Lucille Eckey of 407 N Elm St.
