This year’s Homecoming Queen is Gwenivere Hanks and her attendants are Janet and Jean Edwards. Kindergarten attendants were Marlys Lee and Joey Pritchard.
The Homecoming Parade was at 7 p.m. on Friday night with the game at 7:30 p.m. The Tigers played Wapello. A dance followed in the HS gym and music was provided by Tiny Biggs and his orchestra.
Mrs. Lorene Ritchey and Mrs. Mary Harper will entertain the Birthday Club in honor of Dorothy Kilbourn and Yoma McKinnon’s birthdays.

Two 10-year old girls, Pansy Arnold and Beth Farnsworth, were injured when the tandem bicycle they were riding was hit by a car, Pansy suffered multiple broken bones and is in serious condition at the Burlington Hospital. Beth was treated by the local doctor and released.

There will be an open house for Dorothy Kilbourn on Oct. 18 in honor of her 90th birthday.
A card shower is being planned for Wilma Linkin in honor of her 80th birthday.
