- Elvin Dickey and Berdetta Woodsmall were united in marriage on Saturday evening at the Methodist Church. Rev. Paul McDade performed the ceremony.

- The Glove Factory will relocate down South where wages are less. Officers of the Development Co., George Elliott, Don Bell, C. H. Carlson, Howard Ritchey, Abraham Ruben, T.J. Newman, Ralph DeSpain, Sumner Blanck, and Bert Harper want to buy the building so they can pursue another business opportunity for New London.
