Mary O’Brien, daughter of the Tom O’Briens, won first place in the photograph contest. Kenneth Simmons was second, Jim Piper was third, and Kay Miller was fourth.
Mrs. Wilbur Flam entertained in honor of her father Tink Schreyer’s birthday.
Charles Piper, a student at Northwestern University, Chicago, arrived at the parental Justus Piper home to spend spring break.
This week at the Alamo: “A Southern Yankee” starring Red Skelton and Arlene Dahl and “The Velvet Touch” starring Rosalind Russell.

Debra Ball, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Ball, married Nicholas Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Thomas at the Methodist Church.
