- Mr. and Mrs. Ray Williams announce the engagement of their daughter Mary E. to Floyd Shelledy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Shelledy. A wedding date has not been set.
- Superintendent F. N. Reppe of Letts has been chosen superintendent of New London Schools, replacing Roy Wise.
- Mr. and Mrs. John Parrott, Livingston, Montana, were weekend guests at the Phil Westerbeck and Charles walker homes.
- This week at the Alamo: “Blood on the Moon” starring Robert Mitchum and Barbara Bel Geddes and “Road House” starring Ida Lupino and Cornel Wilde.

- A break-in was reported at the high school on Friday night. Windows were broken, paint sprayed, book shelves and lockers emptied out. Do you know where your children were Friday night after 10:30 p.m.?
