"School People" is a good title for this picture. (l-r) Dr. Vaughan was president of the school board, Ed Smith was school treasurer, Mr. Hartung was superintendent, and F. N. Reppe was a former NL Superintendent. The occasion for this picture was a Chamber of Commerce meeting with Reppe as the speaker. Freeman Norven Reppe was born in 1913. He was a 1936 Luther College graduate. In 1950, he was superintendent here. By the time of this picture (1973) he was a consultant for an architect firm in Davenport. Reppe died in 2010 and is buried in Eugene, Oregon. Karen Brown correctly identified everyone. Way to go Karen!!!!! (If I missed anyone, let me know.)
