New London City Council holds special meeting

The New London City Council met in special session on Dec. 15, 2025. Member Dawn Sines was absent. The council then approved the agenda. There were three public hearings on the agenda.
Public Hearings:
· There were no citizens questions and comments on the proposal to enter into a purchase, sale, and development agreement with Christopher and Melissa Anderson related to a project within the South Pine Street Urban Renewal Area, which includes the potential sale of the City’s interest in real property.
· Approved resolution #484 making final determination on potential sale of interest in real property and approving and authorizing execution of a purchase, sale, and development agreement by and among the City of New London and Adrian Wilson, Connie McManis, and David McManis within the South Pine Street Urban Renewal Area (Lot 4, Pine Street Subdivision First Addition) amending Chapters 165 through 170 — Zoning and Subdivision.
· There were no citizens questions or comments on the proposal to convey interests in real property to SBBS Ventures LLC, pursuant to a proposed real estate purchase agreement.
· Approved resolution #483 authorizing the conveyance of certain real property to SBBS Venture LLC and approving and authorizing execution of a related real estate purchase agreement.
There was no further business. The meeting adjourned at 7:05 p.m. The next regular meeting of the New London City Council will be Jan. 12, 2026 at 6 p.m. at the City Hall.
