New London VFW Post 7641 Auxiliary sponsors July 4 parade

Dianna Klaus, President if Post 7641 Auxiliary confirmed the rumor, “Word has it that there's going to be a 4th of July parade in New London!” The VFW Auxiliary is sponsoring the return of the July 4 parade. The 2024 Theme is "Courtesy of the Red White and Blue”. The parade will begin at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 4.

Adult floats are eligible for a first prize of $50 and a second prize of $25 for second . Youth floats or decorated bike prizes are $25 for first and $10 for second. All organizations, youth or church groups, businesses, athletic boosters are welcome to participate. Businesses and organizations interested in helping sponsor the event, please contact Dianna.
