NL City Council Hires Two

On Oct. 24, 2024, the city council held a special meeting with Dawn Sines joining by phone and the other members in attendance. They approved the agenda.
The council approved resolution #439 employing a city clerk/treasurer. The council hired Lisa DuPree as the new city clerk/treasurer at a starting wage of $28.85 per hour.
Next they passed resolution #440 employing Dawson Bergthold as the new police officer at a staring wage of $23.54 per hour.
Both positions were unanimously approved.
The meeting adjourned at 6:20 p.m. The next regular meeting of the New London City Council will be Nov. 12, 2024 at 6 p.m. at the city office.
