NL School Board Meets in a Special Morning Session

The New London school board met in special session on July 30, 2025 at 7 a.m. Mike McBeth called the meeting to order.
The directors took the following actions:
- Approved the July claims.
- Approved the resignation of Lexi Banks-special ed. associate.
- Approved the following sharing agreements for 2025/2026. FTEs (full time equivalencies): human resources (4 FTE); sp. ed. director (2 FTE); and curriculum director (2 FTE) all for our district. Total — one FTE @ $7,000-$56,000.
Action on the following spring coaching appointments:
- Head HS B track coach — Austin Burns — approved
- Head HS G track coach — Jeremy Rohdy — approved
- HS assistant track coach — James Oudenhoven — approved
- MS Head B track coach — Shane Barron — approved
- MS Head G track coach — Bridget Swailes — approved
- Co-HS Head B & G golf coach — Jackie Housman — approved
- Co-HS Head B & G golf coach — Dennis Carter — approved
Action on the following summer coaching appointments:
- HS Head baseball coach — Jayden Flowers — approved
- HS assistant baseball coach — Corey Westerbeck — approved
- MS Head baseball coach — Shane Manning — approved
- HS Head softball coach — Emily Parks — approved
- HS assistant softball coach — Terri Hester — approved
- MS Head softball coach -Morgan Davis — approved
- MS assistant softball coach — Breanna Mettler
The directors approved the 2025/2026 Coaches Handbook. The meeting adjourned at 7:17 a. m. The next regular meeting of the New London school board will be Aug. 18, 2025 at 6 p.m. at the north campus success center.
