NLCSD audit report released

Terpstra Hoke and Associates P.C., Certified Public Accountants, today released an audit report on New London Community School District in New London.

The District's revenues totaled $9,361,056 for the year ended June 30, 2022, a 10.7 percent increase from the prior year. Expenses for District operations for the year ended June 30, 2022, totaled $7,819,455, a 0.6 percent increase from the prior year.

The auditor reported eight findings related to the receipt and expenditure of taxpayer funds.

They are found in the Schedule of Findings and Questioned Costs of this report.

The District was provided with recommendations to address each of the findings. Four of the eight findings discussed above are repeated from the prior year.
