NLHS sports roundup

Thursday, April 13, the Tiger girls golf team notched wins over Central Lee and Wapello. They shot a 188 against the Hawks who did not post a team score. They beat Wapello 174-246. Taylor Phillips was medalist in both matches, shooting a 42 against Central Lee and a 41 against Wapello.

Against Central Lee, the scores were Sophie Malott-43, Emma Nye-48, Emma Busby-55, and Isabelle Nye-59.

Against Wapello, Malott-43, Busby-44, E. Nye-46, I. Nye -54, and Stevie Wintermeyer-59.

The boys team won over Central Lee, 192-200, and tied with Wapello with a score of 180.

Wyatt Miller shot a 44, leading all scorers. Coen Fitzpatrick tied for second with a 48. Mason Shelledy shot a 49, Weston Miller - 51, and Sully Barron - 59.

Against Wapello, Shelledy finished as runner-up with a 40. Weston Miller shot a 45, Wyatt Miller - 47, Fitzpatrick - 48, Barron - 55, and Vegas Watson - 64.

Girls Track

The Tiger girls ran at the Pen City Relays in Ft. Madison on April 11. They had 11 PRs and are improving weekly.
