P.E.O. Chapter EV awards local scholarship
Chapter EV of P.E.O. of the New London and Danville communities is pleased to announce they have awarded a $500 scholarship to Emma Nye of New London at the New London High School awards ceremony.
P.E.O. is a philanthropic educational organization with chapters throughout the United States and Canada. The purpose of the organization is to promote educational opportunities for women at every level of education. This is accomplished in various ways through grants, scholarships, and low interest loans. Chapter EV awards local scholarships to high school senior girls in New London and Danville who are continuing their education in either a two year or four-year institution.
