Public Health bringing flu and COVID shots to New London

Henry County Public Health will be at the New London Community Center on Tuesday, October 21 from 4-5:30 p.m. giving flu and COVID shots. No appointment is necessary, but you will need your insurance card if you have one. Most insurance is accepted. Uninsured individuals can still receive the flu vaccine at no cost through a government funded program. High dose flu shots are available for those aged 65 and older. There may be COVID vaccine available for uninsured individuals, call 319-385-0779 when it gets closer to verify.
Flu and COVID vaccines will also continue to be given during regular immunization clinics on Tuesdays 9-11 a.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays 1-4 p.m., and the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month 1-6 p.m. Most insurance is accepted, call 319-385-0779 if you have questions.
