On September 27, 2006, Avalon was born to Rebecca and James Rhodes. She was joined a few years later by little sister Ivy Allyn Rhodes. Avalon’s delighted grandparents, Alice and Edward Rhodes and Pamela and Allen Pealer, were on hand to welcome their new granddaughter.
Nicknamed Ava, she is an original member of the Class of 2025. She has participated in theater productions and worked on the yearbook. When this honor roll student has spare time, she enjoys drawing and reading.
Her most special memory is attending the junior prom with her friends. Ava’s most embarrassing was when she fell in PE.
When asked to sum up what makes her class special, she said, “They are all very unique and we have gone through a lot together.” Her advice to the underclassmen is to do their homework on time.
She chose her mom and dad (Becca and James) as the people she’d most like to recognize. The reason is because they’ve always supported her and helped her through hard times, especially in high school.
Ava is looking forward to prom as her senior year winds down. Her plans after graduation are to keep working at her current job.
Tiger Nation wishes Ava the best as she leaves NLHS and starts adulthood!
