Senior Spotlight: Aydan Nedela

On January 15, 2006, Chris Nedela and Nikki Bohlen welcomed their son Aydan. He has one sibling, Emery. His grandparents are Phyllis and Ron Dockendorff, Riley Nedela, and Barbara Hoffman.

Aydan has been a member of the Class of 2024 for two years. Answering to the nickname Big Ned, Aydan enjoys working on trucks, cars, and semis.

He says his proudest moment will be when he graduates. His most embarrassing, when his truck leaked coolant all over the parking lot.

The person Aydan has singled out for special recognition is Jackie Housman. He says of her, “She’s the only reason I finished high school. She is the reason I came to New London and has helped me since I was a freshman.”

Even though he has only been a class member a relatively short time, he feels there is chemistry among the classmates. His advice to the underclassmen is don’t fall behind early in school.

After graduation, which he’s very much looking forward to, he plans pursue truck driving.
