Senior Spotlight: Destry Farris
Apr. 18, 2024 11:02 pm
On an early spring day, March 28, 2006 to be exact, Destry Farris entered this world. His parents are Tracy and Dan Boughner and Joe Farris. His siblings are Justice Farris and Payton Boughner.
A member of the Class of 2024 since kindergarten, Destry enjoys cars, dirt bikes, and lifting weights.
His special memory was making metal rods and the ensuing sword fights in shop class his freshman year. His most disappointing moment was when he messed up his leg and had to use crutches.
Destry’s special person is his mom Tracy. He says of her, “She always believes in me and makes it so I understand that I can achieve anything,”
What he sees as special about his class is that they have chemistry. His advice to the underclassmen is that it is good to have fun and make memories. But he advises them to pass their classes and make as much money as possible because “money makes the world go round.”
Destry’s future plans include attending Hennessey Performance Tuning School. Tiger Nation wishes Destry every success as he leaves the halls of NLHS
